RE: Anit-Offroad website

If anyone had insight into those peoples lives, I'm sure that they do things that we wouldn't approve of. (probably gay sex)

RE: got screwed on my new house

Not exactly. The lien is on another property that they own. But I guess that if their debt or whatever is too great it may encompass the property I'm trying to buy. Lots of legal mumbo jumbo.

got screwed on my new house

Me and the wife are in the process of buying a house. We found one and put in an offer. The sellers countered and we accepted. But when our realtor called us about the changes in the counter, she told us that her and the listing agent found out that the sellers have some sort of litigation on another property that they own. So now we have to wait no longer then ten days for them to hear from their lawyer if they can still sell. Damn! I hate to wait.

RE: new look

Can you actually notice a difference shaving the fenders or is it just for good looks?

RE: Self-Defense Loads

The input is awesome in this thread. I am here pretty often but I don't post much cause I would just say the same thing that ten others have said. But as for my post, you would have to been in my shoes.

RE: Self-Defense Loads

No lawsuit, obviosly the first thing that comes to peoples minds. Me, no record. The angry drunk swinging a kinife at me and later found to have a small amount of coke on his posession, a quite long record. He had no serious wounds thanks to the shot shell. Just a little bleeding. Other whitnesses saw the whole thing. When he first pulled the knife he just held it up and was talkin sh*t. I just had my hand on my gun, not pulled yet. When he started swinging, I jumped back into his friends. He got too close for me, I drew my gun, threw the slide back and fired one round. The only thing I did wrong, which the police "overlooked", was to have my gun INSIDE the bar, and not in my vehicle.

RE: Self-Defense Loads

One time outside of a bar I was forced to use my gun. I fired one shot shell at the guys legs, mind you he was swinging a knife at me with four of his friends around me. I had nowhere to go. I guess he didnt know that I have my permit and always have my gun on me. I gave him two warnings, he proceded to swing, I loaded and fired. He dropped to the ground and was holding his legs. I told his friends which were running away the rest are real loads. The guy dropped his knife, I kicked it away and waited for the cops. They took me to the station, did some paperwork and cut me loose. A very bad and long night for me.

RE: Self-Defense Loads

I have an xd-40. I shoot about 100 rounds a week with it. A hint for springfield guys. the 12 round clips hold 13. As for self defense loads I put one shot shell in the very top of the clip. (I carry with the chamber empty) In a real life situation I would fire the shot shell between the waist and feet, and if they proceeded I would fire into center mass with regular lead.

RE: Ok to ride without endcap on Pipe???

I like my raptor with the stock exhaust. It's nice and quiet but it seems to have good power in my opinion. Theres a tool who rides at tower city with us and has a 300ex with what seems to be the worlds loudest exhaust(a lot of noise but goes nowhere fast).

RE: 2 stroke Vs. 4 Stroke ... which is better?

Ive owned bikes and a 250r, but I like my raptor for all around riding best. I like the smooth power and easy start. I raced my friends shee on a 300ft paved "closed" road and took him by one and a half lenghts.

Those tree huggin a-holes are the ones who ruin it for everyone. He should take his "P.C." views of how he thinks we should care for our country and stick them so far up his a&& he chokes. I, on the other hand, RTY, like PETA. People Eating Tasty Animals!

RE: Raptor 700 questions.

Is it worth the money for the exhaust and alba programmer?

RE: Raptor 700 questions.

I just bought my 06 700 raptor. It's all stock, but in a long 4th gear pull it is noticably faster with just removing the airbox lid.
